A single caption layout over the lower portion of a portrait photo. Former NFL player Anthony “Spice” Adams, in a bright yellow suit, leans from behind a tree, rubs his hands together, and licks his lips with an eager, mischievous expression.
How the joke works
Use the single caption to state a tempting reward, opportunity, or situation that prompts the pictured person’s eager anticipation. A common construction is “When [desirable thing happens]” or “Me when [temptation becomes available].” The mischievous hand-rubbing and lip-licking provide the response, so the caption should name the thing he wants rather than narrate an unrelated action or add a second exchange.
- Single lower caption: the tempting reward, opportunity, or situation that has the pictured person eagerly anticipating it.
Caption examples
- When the team announces leftover birthday cake in the kitchen
A desirable treat gives the visibly eager reaction a clear target and fits the single caption box. Illustrative and unreviewed.
- The calendar invite is set for 3 p.m.
This neutral fact gives the expression no tempting reward or reason for anticipation. Illustrative and unreviewed.
Situations it fits
- a tempting discount or bonus becoming available
- a favorite snack or activity being announced
- an opportunity to benefit from a predictable situation
- playfully anticipating a reward after completing a task
When this format does not fit
- Do not describe an unrelated scene with no tempting target or anticipated payoff.
- Do not imply actual malicious intent; the humor is usually playful, exaggerated desire or scheming.
- Do not use a second caption or multi-panel exchange; this app template has one caption box.
- Avoid framing predatory or harmful conduct as harmless merely because the image looks mischievous.
