What the Bateman Walking meme means

Patrick Bateman strides in headphones; two stacked labels or beats can identify the track/context and the smug or unexpectedly fitting walk mood.
How the joke works
Slot 1 establishes a song, tiny win, or situation that triggers a strut; slot 2 names the song/mood or makes the swagger disproportionate. If the user's reference implies a specific track, keep it accurate.
- Trigger/song/mundane win prompting the walk.
- Track or swaggering self-image payoff.
Caption examples
- Me after finding the missing save file
- the boss music is actually elevator jazz
The joke undercuts a confident walk with comically non-epic elevator music.
- Me on my way to hurt someone
- American Psycho is goals
It celebrates violence and holds up a serial killer as a role model.
Situations it fits
- a tiny task completed with a victory walk
- an unexpectedly perfect song for a mundane activity
- walking into a game or fandom moment with overconfidence
- a small private win that feels cinematic
When this format does not fit
- Celebrating Bateman's violence or misogyny
- Using as if the character were admirable in real life
- No walk, song, or swagger trigger
- Inventing a soundtrack attribution
