Blank Red MAGA Hat Meme Template
The cap evokes the red “Make America Great Again” campaign hat associated with Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign; the Smithsonian National Museum of American History records a Trump campaign hat from 2016 and notes the campaign’s first use of the slogan cap in 2015. Red caps with alternate wording were already being discussed as a playful customization in contemporaneous 2015 coverage, so the editable-slogan idea is not inherently anti-Trump. This blank-cap template invites replacement slogans, parody, political commentary, or absurd phrases. The hat’s political association is strong but meanings vary by wearer and context; keep captions clearly user-authored rather than attributing them to Trump, a campaign, or a real group.

A front-facing, blank red baseball-style cap with a rope detail across the brim sits alone on a white background. The current effective app layout places one large caption box centered on the crown, where a single replacement slogan can be written.
How the joke works
Slot 1 is the only caption: write a short, legible replacement slogan on the blank crown. It may parody the familiar “Make America Great Again” structure, offer a harmless alternate phrase, or use an absurd juxtaposition. The humor comes from the contrast between the recognizable political cap and the newly invented wording. Keep the slogan clearly user-authored; do not imply it is official campaign merchandise or a real endorsement.
- The sole caption box on the cap crown: write one short replacement slogan or phrase.
Caption examples
- MAKE LIBRARIES LOUD AGAIN
A compact, harmless replacement slogan nods to the familiar phrase while remaining clearly user-authored.
- OFFICIAL TRUMP CAMPAIGN MERCHANDISE
The template is a blank cap image, not evidence that this invented slogan or hat is official campaign merchandise.
Situations it fits
- Writing a playful alternate slogan for an everyday hobby or preference
- Making clearly fictional, nonpartisan wordplay about a familiar phrase
- Creating light political satire that does not misrepresent a real person or organization
- Using the recognizable cap as an absurd canvas for a harmless statement
When this format does not fit
- Do not treat the blank cap as politically neutral; many viewers will recognize its association with the Trump campaign.
- Do not imply an invented phrase was actually worn, said, endorsed, or sold by Trump or a political campaign.
- Do not make unsupported political, product, health, or safety claims.
- Keep the single slogan short and legible within the crown area.
- Avoid sweeping insults or accusations about people based on their political identity or clothing.
